Kasper Collision Center has once again achieved the Gold Professionals designation for having completed the training programs required by I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair.

I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.

The I-CAR Vision, which is shared enthusiastically by the Kasper organization and the Collision Center, is that every person in the collision industry has the necessary technical knowledge and skills, relevant to their position, to achieve a complete and safe repair.

For an organization to meet the stringent criteria for Gold Professionals, every technician on staff who is directly involved with vehicle repairs must complete his or her position point requirement or have earned five Gold Class points in the 12 months prior to application or renewal.

“Points are awarded for successfully completing training programs and passing each program’s written test,” says Bart Barna, general manager of the Collision Center. “In addition to our employees reaching Gold Class status, many of them have attained the advanced Platinum Individual designation.”

“Our company encourages training not only to bring added value to our customers,” says Sandy Bonoan, collision center manager, “but also because it is an important step in fulfilling employees’ personal goals and objectives. This is a perfect blending of both, and we are all extremely pleased with everyone’s achievements.”
